Albums
The discography of American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, 4 live albums, as well as several compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards for their work.
Before Toto was formed, members of the band played session work for other musicians. David Paich, the son of drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all performed on Boz Scaggsalbum from 1975 Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in 1976 following the collaboration.
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked an abrupt departure from the progressive sound of their earlier albums, and was criticised for the absence of hit singles. In 1985 the group's singer Fergie Fredericksen left, and the band held auditions to choose a new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the group recorded their album Fahrenheit in 1986.
Toto released Toto XX in 1998 to mark its 20th anniversary. The band went through old recordings and tapes to create the special record. The album was well-loved by fans and the band embarked upon the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
Shem Von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as drummer during the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included live recordings from the tour as well as an interview with the group.

The song "Africa" is from the album Toto IV, was written by the members of the band and was produced by David Pich. It was written by band members and produced by David Paich. Toto was created following Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and Boz Scaggs recorded Silk Degrees. Keyboardist Paich was a regular on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
In 1998, Toto started working on an album titled Old Is New. This album included three new tracks as well as several recordings of songs from the past. The album became a huge success and the band toured on tours to promote it.

Toto, known for the popular song "Africa" The group recently joined forces to promote their upcoming album, All In. The album was released on November 6, 2018 and included three brand new tracks from the forthcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, and also recorded versions of four older tracks that featured Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also featured an original cover version of Weezer's song "Hash Pipe" that they added after hearing it on the radio.
